The entire staff has been so great and very fast and efficient. Michael was able to get me into my apartment in 2 weeks! ... Everyone from the office to the maintenance have been very helpful and attentive to all my concerns in a very timely manner. The complex is older so the community amenities aren’t the best but the units are spacious and they do a great job of maintaining the rest of the property. I feel safe and actually cared for. My wife and I have witnessed the continued improvement in services ... over the years, working with residents replacing large trash bins with trash compactors and valet trash collection services; hiring security services and installing security cameras. Maintenance has improved significantly and the employees are friendly and neighborly and routinely sponsors holiday events and gatherings including fun competition among residents. One of the things I love about living in the city is awakening to birds singing, I look out of my window to see birds and ... beautiful developed trees... and I can see the maintenance man mowing the lawn. It's then I'm reminded this is called The Cloisters located in DC and the Arboretum is my own front yard and no I don't have to mow the lawn. Oops the light went out and the ceiling is too high, call maintenance to assist. My neighbors are from various interesting backgrounds, representing glorious cultures. Amazon boxes are here to take your packages for you to pick up after work. So you want socials? During the holidays you are invited a eggnog social or for the younger at heart you can find Easter eggs hidden in unsuspected places. This is what a community is---why not join us?
